We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mid/Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic Pricing Team within the Carsharing Tribe. This role involves working alongside a collaborative team of engineers, product managers, QA specialists and designers.
The successful candidate will maintain and develop critical business services and contribute to the migration of these services from Ruby on Rails to Kotlin.
This is an exciting opportunity to influence the future of our pricing infrastructure and ensure scalability and reliability for our carsharing platform.

Your next missions :

• Design, develop, and maintain business-critical services written in Ruby and Kotlin.
• Plan and execute service migrations from Ruby on Rails to Kotlin.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and ensure seamless deployments.
• Optimize database interactions, focusing on Postgres, Elasticsearch, and Redis.
• Containerize and orchestrate applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
• Manage infrastructure using Terraform to ensure robust and scalable environments.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
• Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience developing and maintaining highly available services written in Ruby on Rails and/or Kotlin.
• Bonus: Experience with Elixir and Javascript frameworks such as Vue.js.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts and best practices.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and Terraform.
• Solid knowledge of relational and non-relational databases, including Postgres, Elasticsearch, and Redis.

HARD SKILLS:

• Proficiency in Ruby on Rails and Kotlin.
• Familiarity with Elixir and Vue.js.
• Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies: Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
• Infrastructure-as-code expertise using Terraform.
• Database optimization with Postgres, Elasticsearch, and Redis.
• Version control proficiency (Git).

SOFT SKILLS:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a solution-oriented mindset.
• Team player with a positive attitude and a collaborative spirit.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proactive and hands-on, with the ability to understand complex problems and propose effective solutions.
