In a context of a replacement, we are looking for a Team Lead Account Payable to join our Finance Team in Paris 📍

Your next missions :

• Manage the Accounts Payable team (up to 6 persons)

• Manage the entire accounts payable process, including invoice processing, payment approvals, and payment execution; 

• Ensure timely and accurate payments to vendors and suppliers; 

• Support month end financial close process by ensuring timely entry of invoices and follow up with invoice owners so that approvals and procurement holds are resolved prior to deadlines; 

• Be familiar with and provide procurement support by verifying spend commitments are documented on a purchase order and support internal stakeholders by communicating potential PO issues; 

• Preparing and documenting accruals and prepaid expenses with the help of the controlling team; 

• Play a key role in the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements; 

• Assist in the preparation of the financial statements and audits; 

• Assist in preparation of budgets and forecasts for account payable; 

• Ensure compliance with company policies; 

• Lead the reconciliation of accounts and resolution of discrepancies; 

• Be the primary internal contact for all accounts payable-related inquiries; 

• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency within the accounts payable department; 

• Mentor and train team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability; 

Expected skills:

• 🔧 You have a successfully completed degree preferably with a focus on finance and accounting or comparable training
• 🔧 You have several years of professional experience in accounts payable, including previous leadership or supervisory roles
• 🔧 You have strong SAP skills and are familiar with other relevant accounting software
• 🔧 You possess excellent analytical abilities, attention to detail, and a high level of accuracy
• 🔧 You are a responsible, loyal, and results-driven individual with a strong sense of accountability
• 🔧 You demonstrate leadership qualities, including strong communication, good self-organization, structured problem-solving, reliability, confidence, and team-building skills
• 🔧You are committed to continuous improvement and process optimization
• 🔧 Fluent in English, and good level in German
